According to the new ESPN regulations, each ESPN Working Group (WG) should include in their board a young or early career member, less than 40 years old (and/or in the first 10 years of training in pediatric nephrology).

We think that this could be an important step in promoting the involvement and voices of young doctors in the life of our society and we strongly support this new ESPN initiative.

As such, and by this email, we would like to encourage all of you, who fulfill the above-mentioned criteria and are interested in any of our WGs, to join one!

Either by just being a valuable young WG member or even by applying for the Board member role.

For the ones interested in applying for the Board member role, the process is simple : you need to send an e-mail to the ESPN secretariat (espn@espn-online.org) with a brief Curriculum Vitae and a letter of interest explaining why you wish to enter the board of this WG. New members must be approved by the WG board.
